aluminum staple holds the cotton thread to the teabag
and to the tag at the other end. Proper stapling is
crucial to ensure that the bag does not detach, during
infusion.

The teabag thread, is like a lifeline which enables
the user to gently lower the teabag into the cup and
retrieve it after satisfactory infusion has taken
place. It is no ordinary thread. It has to conform
to food grade standards. Cotton thread is wound using
different techniques, to suit different machines,
such as IMA, Constanta and PT machines, to name a
few. Jung woo Korea who started as a domestic supplier,
soon grew in experience and quality. They relocated
their manufacturing operation in order to be close
to their biggest market - Sri Lanka. Package Care
Limited has been their agent from it's inception due
